are my brackets upside down?

my tv has been away for repair (they had to replace the yus s board or something like that!)
they weren't sure about how to put the tv back onto the wall, they didn't seem to be able to slide it on , instead, putting the lower part of the brackets under the bar of the wall mount, then pushing the top towards the wall mount so it hooked over. when i got home and put the bar along the bottom (it secures the tv to the wall mount with a padlock at the far end so the tv can't be slid off) i had to move the tv forward so i could slide the bar in, but when the tv was first put up, this was easy!

the bend on the bottom part of the bracket is wider that the top part so looks like they're upside down? what does anyone think? the tv hasn't fallen off but if its not as secure as it should be, who knows what could happen!!
