What is Vesa?

VESA is the distance between your TV  mounting holes.
On the rear of your Plasma or LCD TV, you will find 4 mounting holes where your TV bracket can be attached.

IF YOU HAVE USED OUR ‘BRACKET FINDER’, YOU DONT NEED TO WORRY ABOUT CONFIRMING THE VESA AS WE HAVE CHECKED IT FOR YOU.

Please check the description on each of our brackets to check the VESA standard compatibility. Below are the most common examples of VESA measurements:

75mm x 75mm
100mm x 100mm
200mm x 200mm
200mm x 100mm
400mm x 200mm
800mm x 400mm

To see which VESA standard your TV is compatible with look on the back of your TV. You will notice that there are holes present which are screw-in threaded. Measure the distance between the height and the width of the holes and if they measure up to any of the above then your TV confirms to the VESA standard. (the diagram below shows the back of a TV with 75mm x 75mm holes)
Modern TV’s make up over 90% of which confirm to this VESA standard.

The wall bracket below would be compatible with the TV above as it also has a VESA mesurement of 75mm x 75mm.

If your TV has holes with different measurements, DONT WORRY! Our bracket range also include Universal Fixing and are adjustable to your TV’s VESA.
